The owl example project was not keying the control bone, leading to incorrect additive blending. The export.sh and runtimes.sh script in example/export did not account for the folder structure change in spine-ts.
spine-love
The spine-love runtime provides functionality to load, manipulate and render Spine skeletal animation data using LÖVE. spine-love is based on spine-lua.
Licensing
You are welcome to evaluate the Spine Runtimes and the examples we provide in this repository free of charge.
You can integrate the Spine Runtimes into your software free of charge, but users of your software must have their own Spine license. Please make your users aware of this requirement! This option is often chosen by those making development tools, such as an SDK, game toolkit, or software library.
In order to distribute your software containing the Spine Runtimes to others that don't have a Spine license, you need a Spine license at the time of integration. Then you can distribute your software containing the Spine Runtimes however you like, provided others don't modify it or use it to create new software. If others want to do that, they'll need their own Spine license.

Spine version
spine-love works with data exported from Spine 3.9.x.
spine-love supports all Spine features except for blending modes other than normal.
spine-love does not yet support loading the binary format.
Setup
- Download the Spine Runtimes source using git or by downloading it as a zip via the download button above.
- Copy the contents of
spine-luatospine-love/spine-lua. - Run the
main.luafile using LÖVE.
Alternatively, the spine-lua and spine-love/spine-love directories can be copied into your project. Note that the require statements use spine-lua.Xxx, so the spine-lua files must be in a spine-lua directory in your project.

- To enable two color tinting, pass
truetoSkeletonRenderer.new().

If you want to run and debug the example project, use IntelliJ IDEA with the EmmyLua plugin.
- Install IntelliJ IDEA and the EmmyLua plugin.
- Install LÖVE.
- Copy the
spine-lua/spine-luafolder tospine-love. - Open the
spine-lovefolder in IntelliJ IDEA. - Create a new launch configuration of the type
